How Does Delivery Work?

Orders placed by 10:00am can receive same day delivery by 5:00 pm.
Orders placed after 10:00am will default to delivery on the following business day.
If you prefer to place an order in advance, you may select your preferred delivery date from the calendar view on the checkout page.
Please note, we are not open on weekends or holidays. Deliveries take place Monday-Friday.
Orders submitted Friday afternoon, Saturday, or Sunday will be delivered on Monday.
All orders submitted on a holiday will be delivered the next business day.
You may select a paper bag (free) or insulated bag ($3.99) at checkout. The insulated bag will also include ice packs.
We recommend refrigerating or freezing your meals within an hour of receiving your delivery in a paper bag.
If you would like to send multiple orders to different addresses, please place a separate order for each address.

How much food comes with each meal?

Each meal serves 4 adult portions of 1 to 1.5 pounds of food per person.

Can I Receive Free Delivery?

Orders of $75 or more receive free delivery!

How Long Can I Keep These Meals in the Freezer?

Our meals will keep in the freezer for up to 12 months.
Expiration dates are listed on the individual meal's label.

How Long Do the Meals Take to Cook?

All of our meals are fully cooked before freezing. Simply heat to 165 degrees F before serving.
Meals heated from frozen take 40-60 minutes in the oven at 425 degrees.
Meals thawed for at least 24 hours will take 30-40 minutes in the oven at 425 degrees.
Each meal contains its own set of instructions. Follow the instructions provided with each meal. Instructions are also listed on each meal’s product page. If the product has been removed from the menu, please email info@modernplate.com or text 303-222-0061 for the instructions.

How Long Are Leftovers Good For?

Once the meal has been thawed, consume within 4 days.

Can I make substitutions to the meals?

At this time we do not make substitutions to our meals. Each meal box arrives with the components displayed on the meal’s product page description. If you’d like to request a meal item that your family would like to see, please email us at info@modernplate.com.

Do you make your meals in smaller sizes?

Currently, we only produce family-sized meals that feed 4 people. If you are interested in a 2 person serving or single serving, please email us at info@modernplate.com. We’d like to know if there is interest!

Do you accommodate allergies?

Our kitchen is not an allergen free facility. All allergens are listed on each product’s page and ingredient label.
